Kaitlyn Carr (b. 1992) is a process-based artist from Oregon whose work explores repetition, modulation, and the relationship between parts and the whole. With a background in printmaking (BFA, Oregon State University, 2016), her practice is grounded in the physical and conceptual rigor of the aggregate.

Carr extends these inquiries through large-scale, site-specific installations, textiles, and works on paper using modular shape to reveal gestures within systems of accumulation. She has exhibited across the West Coast, including the Portland Biennial (2016) and Tryst Alternative Art Fair (2024), and has collaborated with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), Soliloquy Fine Arts, Street Soccer PDX, and other community organizations to create temporary public installations throughout Portland. Her work is held in the Portable Collection of Kent Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (Kent, Washington) and the Provost’s Purchase Award Collection at Oregon State University.
